Questions We Get A Lot
We believe clarity creates calm. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most.
Getting Started
I’m new to yoga or Pilates. Where should I begin?
You’re in the right place. Many of our students start here. We recommend beginning with classes labeled beginner-friendly, slow, gentle, or foundational. If you’re unsure, send us a message and we’ll help guide you.
Do I need experience to know what level to take?
Nope. Our class levels are based on experience and intensity—not flexibility or “being good” at yoga. You’ll always be offered options so you can meet your body where it is.
What should I bring to my first class?
Just yourself and comfortable clothing you can move in. We have mats and props available, and water is always a good idea.
Classes & Scheduling
How early should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 10 minutes early for your first visit so you can get settled and ask any questions. Our doors open 15 minutes before class begins.
What if I’m late?
For safety and flow, late entry may not be allowed once class has started because we lock the door once classes begin.
Are classes heated?
Some classes are gently warm, but we do not offer hot yoga. Each class description notes what to expect.
Memberships & Pricing
What’s the difference between a membership and a class pack?
Memberships are best if you plan to practice regularly and want the most value. Class packs offer flexibility if your schedule varies.
Do memberships auto-renew?
Yes. Memberships renew monthly, however, we are a contract-free community.
Can I pause or cancel my membership?
We understand that life changes. Reach out via email with 15 days notice.
Workshops & Events
Do I need to be a member to attend workshops or events?
Not at all. Workshops and events are open to everyone unless otherwise noted.
Are workshops beginner-friendly?
Most are. Each event description will let you know if prior experience is recommended.
The Studio Experience
What should I wear?
Anything you feel comfortable moving in. There’s no dress code here.
Will I be offered modifications?
Always. Our teachers offer options and variations so you can practice safely and confidently.
Can I attend class if I have an injury or limitation?
In many cases, yes—but please let your teacher know before class. We recommend consulting a healthcare provider if you’re unsure.
Policies
What’s your cancellation policy?
We ask for advance notice if you need to cancel so others can join the class.
Do class packs expire?
Yes—expiration dates are listed at purchase. If you have questions, just ask ensure clarity.
